I am absolutely overjoyed that Nurse Helen Rose has joined us, initially working on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as Sycamore Health's and my Practice Nurse and Veterans' Nurse.
I have, of course, worked with Helen previously, and she has vast experience in all elements of nursing care, especially in supporting my Veterans.
I can not overstate my joy at working alongside Helen once more! She is a good friend, an extremely capable Nurse, with a wealth of experience, and an absolute pleasure to have as a colleague. She is truly invested in our patients, and a fantastic advocate for our Veterans.
Helen is already settled into her role supporting our Veterans in the Coordinated Veterans Care scheme, and the new CVC Pilot for Mental Health and Pain.
I am also pleased to announce that we have also been joined by HELP! Psychology's Andrew Whaites, whom I have also previously worked alongside, for counselling and psychological support. Appointments are made with Andrew directly- details are obtainable from Sycamore Health's reception, and, of course, Dr Steve can do referrals as required in the usual fashion. http://www.ihelpyou.com.au/
I am further pleased to announce that we now have our Vaccines fridge, and we should be getting stocks of all publicly-funded vaccines soon, including Children's, Whooping cough, Tetanus, Pneumonia, Shingles, and- soon, when out- Flu vaccines.
My thanks to James Sikkema- Physio, Owner, and friend- for having the vision to work alongside myself and my husband, Wayne, to make all of this possible. I am not using hyperbole when I say that I never dreamed that it would be possible to be working in such a Practice as I now am, with such a Team, with such an emphasis on excellent facilities and investment in patient care, with truly integrated and coordinated team-working emphasised, with such support for my vision for my patients, and with such an atmosphere of fun!
Here's to a fantastic future- where our service truly is caring for you!
